Coffee that tastes Christmas
Every November I am warned that Christmas is to come by the shopping centers’ lights, much more efficient in this purpose than my table calendar, which only deigns to remember me of this date in the following month. This remembers me a Charlie Harper’s quote in Two and a Half Men saying his loyal maid’s coffee tastes like Christmas.
Adding a small quantity of cinnamon in your coffee is a little trick from seasoned coffee makers. I’ve already heard that some people use to stir the coffee with a little cinnamon stick, but it seems to me that this method gives you low control on the content of cinnamon that stays in the brew.
I prefer include a small quantity of cinnamon on the filter, just the tip of a spoon, with the coffee powder as shown on photo below (by Vilma Damasceno, Fine Photographer). You cannot exaggerate on it; the purpose is only to add a special touch in your coffee. Maybe a Christmas touch.
