Perfumed liver slices

So let’s go – my first tries. It seemed wise to me starting with easy recipes. It was when I remembered of the liver slices with onions I’ve used to eat when I was young(er). Anything easier? It is just to slice some liver, season it with salt, black pepper and some garlic, saute it carefully (if you offer border-raw-line liver to someone probably he/she will run away from liver to the rest of his/her life).
Add sliced onions, saute it for more two minutes and that’s ready. High iron content, low fat. To avoid jokes about that hands washing thing, I’ve washed them carefully before slicing two pounds of liver and seasoning those slices.

Vilma came to see how things were going on and decreed: “It smells like soap, totally ruined.” Maybe you cannot imagine how strange is the smell of the lavander on the liver. I think it was more perfumed than the soap itself. I had to throw it away, after all of that work. I think even rogue cats had run away from it.

That’s it, good intentions don’t mean good results. Wash off any soap carefully from your hands before touching any food. In the end, to tell you the truth, it let me quite frustrated for some days.
